Ecotourism Hotels in
Costa Rica
Each year
nearly 17 million hectares of tropical rain forest were steadily becoming
vulnerable to intimidations of deforestation and a decline in major wildlife
population. As a protective measure against this problem of deforestation, many
countries employed ecotourism and Costa Rica was a pioneer among these
countries that began employing this combative stance to deforestation and the
consequences that would have been there otherwise.
Ecotourism,
more specifically meaning ecological tourism, is not only a preventive measure
in Costa Rica but also is integrally linked to its economical growth.
Ecotourism has become a phenomenon since the 1980s and the government is trying
hard to keep it up in all vigor, in order to protect its animals, forests, and
other natural resources, as well develop social and natural consciousness among
people, along with encouraging foreign participation in their project. It
is highly beneficial for the Costa
Rican economy as well, since it means a steady flow of foreign currency in the
country along with ensured income for local inhabitants.
The
government’s effort can be categorized in to many a field. The government has
not only endeavored to establish more and more hotels and resorts, but also encouraged
tours so that the tourists and enthusiasts can engage with the nature,
ultimately becoming conscious of their surroundings and lead a blissful life
themselves and letting others do that also. Many environmentalists see this
endeavor as something that disturbs the ecological balance near the coastlines,
but in fact, it is not so. A balanced and regulated display of the ecosystem
can only bring about changes for the better, since the best way to learn is to
get you involved. The condominiums and luxury resorts and hotels on the pacific
coast are a means of achieving the desired end.
Abundant
eco-resorts and luxury hotels are located along the Costa Rican beaches and
they can earn you good business. They are strategically located, by which the
government can see to it that the delicate ecological balance remains well
established and you, as a tourist or a hotel-owner, may reap the maximum
benefit out of your adventure in Costa Rica.
There are
several existing hotels and resorts in Costa Rica and many are being built to
